OK, in the transportation world our local public transit company, the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority, is conducting a very user friendly rider survey surveymonkey.com/r/BRTAsurvey.. They’re looking for input-the survey closes this Friday. Sorry if this is a repeat request. You know what the problem is? Everybody is doing everything electronically everywhere and it all starts to look the same after awhile (update…update…update…) oh well. At least we change the dates. Can’t do anything about the fact that these time spaces all end in “day” however…well, maybe today can be “the second 24hrs  of the final week of the 7th month…

Or…we could just call it “Food Resources Monday…”

As we’ve mentioned before, Farmer Market Coupons are available and can be used in Williamstown starting this week via the Williamstown Essentials order site.Here are the instructions from the organizers for the coupons use. 

Please use one of the coupon codes below at checkout to use your coupons. The $2.50 coupons are matched 100%, which means each coupon is worth $5. You must turn in your physical coupons on Saturday to pick up your order, so please only use the coupon code if you have this year’s MFNP coupons.

The Mobile Food Pantry sponsored by the FoodBank of Western Ma will be in Adams in the Visitor Center parking lot on Tuesday, tomorrow, July 28th from 10-11:00. Stay in your car, they’ll come to you

The Salvation Army Food Pantry on  River Street in North Adams is in operation Tuesday-12:00-3:00. Please use the front door

The Al Nelson Friendship Center Food Pantry at the St. Elizabeth Parish Center on Holden Street and open  Wednesday, 10:00-2:00 and 3:30-5:30. Plenty of parking. Their phone message says that they’ll deliver if you don’t have access to transportation, call them between 9:30 and 1:30 on Wednesdays for delivery.  The Community Bible Church Food Pantry, 160 Bridges Road, Williamstown Call Phyllis Babcock (413) 663-6094 and she will meet you at church at your convenience.

The Williamstown Food Pantry at St Patrick/St Raphael Church, 9:00-12:00 Wednesday.  Same procedure, circle the church,, stay in your car, someone will help. Walkers to the front of the line, you go first. 

The Sunday “Take and Eat” meals courtesy of Williamstown churches are back. They’ve contacted all the former participants, a letter has gone out to everybody with the delivery details. If you haven’t heard from them and were expecting to, or are interested in the program, let us know here at 413.458.8250 and we’ll refer you…

Berkshire Food Project-take-out only on M-W-and F. Enter through the breezeway and exit from the dining room out to Summer Street. Masks and social distance required. .  The number of folks allowed inside is currently five, there will be a count. BFP staff will open the doors for you, you’ll only be touching your food.
