The Williamstown/North Adams Winter Holiday Farmers Markets sponsored by Berkshire Grown are back! They’ll be held at the Greylock WORKS, 508 State Road, North Adams,10AM-2PM November 21 and December 19. Both dates are Sundays. www.berkshiregrown.org for information and more at the Berkshire Grown Williamstown/North Adams Winter Market. The indoor winter markets will feature the abundance of local grown and produced foods found in the Berkshires. The offerings of local producers range from greenhouse tender greens and plantings, winter squash, greens, and root crops, to apples, pasture raised eggs and meats, cheeses, honey, and maple syrup, as well as baked goods, jams, ferments, marinades, and cider. Come meet your local farmers and support. They will double SNAP/HIP up to $25.
The North Adams Farmers Market has monthly markets, 1st Saturdays, 9am -1pm, 85 Main Street in North Adams. (no January Market). North Adams Farmers Market is still doubling SNAP/EBT up to $20 per market.
Just a reminder, if you’re coming to the Covid Booster clinic here next Tuesday, November 23, bring your vaccination card-they’ll need to update it, your insurance cards and your patience. Questions? 413-458-8250.
Our Balance and Strength class instructor, Jane J will be out from December 15th into the beginning of January -she will be having hip surgery a month from now. We’ll be plugging holes in the schedule with other activities for a couple weeks until she returns. Check the calendar for December for updates.
