Updates, Monday April 5th, 2021 The clinic for tomorrow is for second shots only. The vaccine for first doses didn’t make it here to the Berkshires today so the only appointments available on Tuesday  are for second shots…if you’re looking for your first vaccine jab unfortunately you’re out of luck today. There will be another clinic scheduled later this week for Thursday. Stay tuned for details. There is a Covid vaccination clinic scheduled tomorrow, Tuesday April 6th, at St Elizabeth of Hungary in North Adams from 2:00 to 5:00. The waiting room will open tonight at 6:00. Update, Monday March 29th, 2021 There have been multiple bear sightings out there in White Oaks, Luce Road and along the North Adams/Williamstown border. It’s a bear invasion!  I guess this means if you’re hanging bird feeders during the day, make sure to take them in at night. Just saying… This is the season when Momma Bear and her cubs will be out too. They’re cute and fun to look at as well as being very curious. Stay away!  Updates, Thursday March 25th, 2022   It’s been a long haul over the past year for everybody but especially those of us  with friends and relatives residing in nursing homes. I have heard from quite a few folks who were unable to visit family members or had to wave at them from the other side of a window. Updates Friday March 19th,2021 I’m told that Massachusetts will now officially align their tax drop dead day to May 15th to align with the feds. Makes sense right? But of course, we all knew that this would happen didn’t we… Moving along, Massachusetts continues to recover and move toward a better new abnormal. Effective Monday March 22nd, we’ll be moving into Step1 of Phase 4 which has all sorts of reopenings possible including baseball stadiums, hello Fenway. Updates, Wednesday March 17th, 2021 Happy Pat’s everyone. Today is the one year anniversary for these  updates and I really didn’t expect them to be around this long! Ok, let’s lead with some vaccination news. Today Governor Baker is announcing the vaccine eligibility dates for remaining residents and certain worker groups. The Commonwealth’s detailed timeline adheres to the original timeline for the three vaccine eligibility phases announced in December. Timeline for remaining groups:  March 22nd : Residents 60+ and certain workers April 5th : Residents 55+ and residents with one certain medical condition April 19th: General public ages 16 years

Updates, Friday March 12th, 2021 Alrighty then…I’m hearing reports of people who have been given private links from their friends, coworkers, neighbors, anybody, which have magically allowed access to the Covid clinics and thus the opportunity to make an appointment. Then elation turns to angst as, tragically the individuals who use these private links are advised electronically that their appointments are cancelled, or worse, turned away at the door.. .
