Return to News Updates, Monday November 23rd, 2020   I have come to the conclusion that masks are very much like socks. They can be an afterthought, don’t really require much maintenance and disappear on a regular basis. How often have you put a pair of socks in the laundry and ended up with just one? Where do they go? Last week I lost three masks. They quite literally vanished from either within the Harper Center or my home laundry. Just poof! Gone! Return to News Update, Thursday November 19th, 2020   I just saw a bit on TV, more grim news on the Covid 19 front. Two Hundred Fifty Thousand people have succumbed to this scourge nationally. That’s 250,000 people, or try a quarter million people dead since March. Some of those people lived here, I knew some of them. Maybe you did too.The science tells us that masks, hygiene and social distancing will save lives while stalling the spread. Return to News Update, Tuesday November 17th, 2020   Just a reminder that the All Saints Episcopal Church Thanksgiving Turkey delivery program is accepting orders right now and through November 25th. Reservations can be made by calling 413.663.9656 between 8:00 and 1:00 and if they don’t answer, leave your name, address/town and phone number and they will call you back. The meal is for elders-60 and older with no other means to acquire a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  The Berkshire Food Project is offering a grab and go Thanksgiving dinner as well with Turkey and all the fixins too.
