Face Masks

Effective Wednesday, May 6, 2020, Governor Baker issued an Order requiring face masks or cloth face coverings in public places where social distancing is not possible. This applies to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Exceptions include children under the age of 2 and those unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition. From the Council on Aging Big Y Supermarkets have a program called “Instacart” where participants can order groceries online and have them delivered directly to the home. Participants sign up at www.instacart.com/big-y Choose items from the weekly Big Y Sales Flyer and submit your order. An instacart shopper assembles the order and delivers it. There are delivery charges. Additionally the weekly in store deals, coupons, etc won’t be honored-it’s all done without using a Big Y card. Covid-19 Update – Town Hall Operations

Adjustments ahead for Town operations. In response to evolving conditions due to Covid-19, Town Hall will be closed to the public beginning Monday, March 16th. Nearly all services are available online at www.williamstownma.gov, including tax payments and building permits. Alternatively, tax and excise payments, parking tickets and dog license materials can be left in the dropbox outside the front door 24 hours a day. Lastly, all items can be mailed to us at 31 North Street, Williamstown, 01267. Further, please consider buying at least a 30 day supply of trash bags if you use the Transfer Station.
