Notice of Public Meeting and Opportunity for Review Draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives Former Photech Facility | 330 Cole Avenue, Williamstown.

 

The Town of Williamstown will hold a public meeting on May 23, 2018 at 6 PM at Town Hall, 31 North Street. One purpose of the meeting will be to inform the public about and solicit comments on the proposed cleanup plan for the Former Photech Facility, located at 330 Cole Avenue, Williamstown. A draft Analysis of Brownfield Cleanup Alternatives (ABCA), which presents a summary of known environmental conditions on the site, an evaluation of cleanup alternatives, and proposed cleanup plan, will be discussed at the meeting. The draft ABCA is also currently available for public review at the Community Development Office, 31 North Street, Williamstown. Arrangements to review the draft ABCA can be made by contacting Mr. Andrew Groff at 413-458-9344 or via email at agroff@williamstownma.gov. Comments regarding the draft ABCA may be submitted during the May 23, 2018 public meeting or directly to Mr. Groff, until the 30-day public comment period closes at 6 PM on May 23, 2018.

 

Section 106 Historic Preservation requirements concerning the project will also be discussed during the meeting, including the Memorandum of Understanding the Town has entered into with the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
