COMPOSTING

Residents with transfer station stickers can drop off their food waste, including dairy, meat, bones, at no additional cost.  Deposit your food waste in one of the totes located in the red Compost Shed located on the right as you enter the facility. Food waste is collected by Tommy’s Compost Services and transported to farms for composting. If you use compostable bags to handle your food waste, be sure they are BPI certified.  NO plastic bags are allowed and will contaminate the load.
