The Town of Williamstown encourages residents to help shape our community by volunteering on Town boards, committees, and commissions. Current vacancies are announced below and posted in the Town Clerk’s office.

Some board and committee members are appointed by an official or the Select Board. Other members are elected.

Appointed Positions

Please fill out an online Government Engagement Form to be considered for an appointed committee position. Email the completed form to comment@williamstownma.gov 

Elected Positions

If you would like to run for an elected position, fill out nomination papers available in early February. Nominations are due 49 days prior to election (usually late March). Town Elections are generally held on the second Tuesday in May, one week before Town Meeting.
