Affordable Housing Trust

The Williamstown Affordable Housing Trust (AHT) was established by Town Meeting in 2012 to create and preserve affordable housing in Williamstown. Largely funded through the town’s Community Preservation Act funds, it oversees and funds the DeMayo Mortgage Assistance Program for low-or moderate-income homebuyers, the Emergency Rental/Mortgage Payment Assistance Program for town residents, the construction of permanently affordable new homes, and the construction of income-qualified housing complexes for families and seniors.
