Request for Proposals: 59 Water Street Redevelopment

The Original RFP:

The Town of Williamstown invites proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of the vacant parcel at 59 Water Street, formerly the site of the Williamstown Department of Public Works garage. The property is identified as Assessor’s Parcel 131-28 and consists of approximately 1.27 acres.

The site may be inspected by interested parties during daylight hours at their convenience. A formal site visit will take place on Monday, March 23 at 10:00 AM.

Proposal Submission Requirements

Proposals must include:

  • One original printed copy
  • One complete electronic PDF copy on a USB drive

Proposals must be delivered to the Town Manager’s Office no later than 3:00 PM on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at which time they will be opened in public.

All materials submitted will become part of the public record.

The Town of Williamstown reserves the right to reject any or all proposals if it determines doing so is in the public interest. The Town also reserves the right to extend the review period and waive any informalities in the proposal process.
