Update, mid-December 2025
Here’s some really good news from Berkshire Health Systems filling a service gap in our
area. They’ve announced the opening of a new Urgent Care location, at 197 Adams Road,
Williamstown, inside the Williamstown Medical facility. Berkshire Health Urgent Care North
will open on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, and will be open on weekdays from 11:00am to
7:00pm and weekends from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
They will provide convenient, accessible care for minor illness and injuries, on-site X-ray
services and testing for common illnesses. They’ll accept a wide variety of health insurance
plans, including private commercial coverage, Medicare, and MassHealth through the
Berkshire Fallon Health Collaborative, all of which are also accepted at the Pittsfield and
Lenox Berkshire Health Urgent Care locations.
We’ve been missing this service for a while, and since the operation at Stop and Shop in
North Adams closed, folks have gone to the emergency room at North Adams Regional
Hospital for simple care, not the best use for a facility designated for emergency care. So, for all the people who have asked about this, voila, here you go!
Cribbage
For those of you who aren’t aware, there is a cribbage game here on Wednesday mornings
at 10:00. They’re looking for at least one more player, no experience needed. Interested-all
you need to do is show up and play.
Holiday Light Tour
Dave Larabee and Sarah will be leading the annual holiday light tour this Wednesday
evening complete with caroling! The first run starts from here at 5:00. Let us know if you’re
coming please.
Christmas Pageant
The St. Patrick/St. Raphael annual Christmas Pageant happens next Monday, December
22nd beginning at 3:45. Singing, joy and there will be refreshments. Join us!
