The Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) established the Williamstown Cultural District in recognition of its unique blend of small-town charm and world class culture and arts. Williamstown Cultural District collaborates with partners and neighboring cultural districts in the Berkshires to promote and program arts events.

The Cultural district promotes, advocates for, and connects local artists. They host artist meetups called Cultural Collabs, manage the Banner exhibit featuring artwork images on downtown light poles, and much more.
