Veterans Services

Current Veterans Services are provided at the North Adams City Hall.

Services include:

Veteran ID Cards
- Available to anyone who served at least one day in the National Guard or Reserves as well as Active Duty, with an Honorable Discharge.
Financial Assistance (Chapter 115 Benefits)
- Support for low-income Veterans and surviving spouses, including those who served in the National Guard and Reserves.
VA Claims Assistance
- Help with VA claims for ALL Veterans, with equal eligibility for National Guard, Reserve, and Active Duty service members.
Food Pantry & Clothing Closet
- Located at North Adams City Hall, serving all Veterans in Northern Berkshire County, including Guard and Reserve members.

Nominate a Local Veteran for the Hometown Heroes Banner Program

Veterans Services is launching the Hometown Heroes Banner Program to honor Williamstown’s veterans. Banners featuring each nominee’s name, branch of service, and photo will be displayed around town from Memorial Day through Veterans’ Day. Nominations are now open.
