Join Town Clerk Nicole Beverly for an informative look at the many roles and responsibilities of her office – one of the most essential and wide-reaching functions in local government.
Wednesday, June 17, 6:00 – 7:30 PM at the Milne Public Library Community Room
Nicole will offer insight into her work as keeper of public records and her vital role in maintaining transparency, accuracy, and access to important town information. She also serves as the community’s Chief Election Officer, overseeing all aspects of local, state, and federal elections, ensuring that they are fair, secure, and accessible to all voters.
This session will also highlight the many other hats the Town Clerk wears, Justice of the Peace, Burial Agent, Notary Public, and Records Access Officer. Gain insight into how these responsibilities impact residents’ daily lives – from recording vital records and administering oaths to assisting with end-of-life arrangements and providing access to public information.
There will be plenty of time for discussion. Bring all your questions about elections, vital records, burials, and any other clerk responsibility!
