Williamstown Fire Department

Williamstown Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the town of Williamstown and mutual aid assistance to surrounding communities.

The Fire Department’s mission is to prevent the loss of life and property. In addition to responding to fires. The Fire Department also responds to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.

They also administer a series of permits including permits for burning, fireworks, oil tanks, and more.

The Fire Department is governed by The Williamstown Prudential Committee, an elected five-person board charged with the operation and fiscal oversight of the fire district.
