Get Ready to Vote in the State Primary Election on September 1

The State Primary Election takes place Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Williamstown Elementary School. This is your opportunity to choose who represents your political party in the November State Elections.

You don’t need to enroll in a party to vote in a primary in Massachusetts. All registered voters can participate. But if you’re registered in one party, you can’t vote in another party’s primary. To learn more about voting in a primary election, please visit see How to Vote in a Primary.

The polling location for all Williamstown voters is Williamstown Elementary School. Park in the lot located at 66 School Street.

Please review the Democratic and Republican specimen ballots below and show up to vote on September 1.
