Red Book and Checklist for the November 3rd General Election
Nine Questions. Fourteen Offices. One Checklist.
This November 3, Williamstown voters will decide nine ballot questions and 14 offices, including Congress and governor, state legislature, attorney general, school committee. That’s a full ballot, so the Town Clerk created a Voter Checklist to help you keep track of your choices. Fill it out ahead of time and bring it with you to the polls. Pick up a the checklist at the Town Clerk’s office or download your own copy.
Need a copy of the “red book”? The state’s Information for Voters guide, which explains all nine questions, should have arrived in your mailbox. If you need another, stop by the Town Clerk’s office at Town Hall. Large-print copies are available there too.
Williamstown, come prepared. Your checklist is ready.
National Grid is alerting customers to be aware of scams following a recent uptick in reports from customers about utility scams, including a report in Clarksburg of door-to-door salespeople asking to see customers’ bills.
New traffic counting devices – cameras and strips – are gathering data to help design process for Main Street Complete Streets project. No identifying information about any individual, vehicle, or license plate is recorded.
The second round of vote by mail application postcards will be delivered to mailboxes soon. If you would like to vote by mail, please apply as early as possible.
The Town of Williamstown is requesting to receive sealed bids for the provision of up to 2500 tons of winter road sand during the period of November 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The Town will receive bids until 1:00 PM on Monday September 28, 2026.
