Take part in the grand opening of Williamstown’s new municipal skatepark — The Max Rothschild Memorial Skatepark!
The party happens noon to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Everyone is welcome for pro skater demos, fun food, hip vendors, and good times!
The skatepark is located on Stetson Road near the east end of Cole Field. See this Google Maps link to find the location. Please note that Stetson Road will be closed to cars during this event. Please plan to walk or ride to the grand opening.

In the interest of public safety, please stay clear of the Taconic Crest Trail, the Bentley Hollow Trail, and the Mattison Hollow Trail in the Towns of Williamstown and Hancock to accommodate wildfire suppression efforts for the Cherry Plain Fire.
The Treasurer/Collector’s Office will be open only 2:00 to 4:30 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. All offices will be closed for Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11.
