The warrant serves as the agenda for Town Meeting and includes articles related to school budgets, town infrastructure, and local bylaws. Each article represents a decision that helps shape the future of Williamstown.

Town Meeting
Tuesday, May 19, starting 7:00 PM (check-in opens at 6:00 PM)

Complimentary childcare for children ages 5 and up will be available at Williamstown Youth Center 6:30 -10:00 PM.
The Treasurer/Collector’s Office will be open only 2:00 to 4:30 PM on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. All offices will be closed for Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11.
On Tuesday, November 10, at 12:30 PM, join Williamstown’s Communications Director Laura Christensen to learn where to find things on the Town website, learn about the Town’s new monthly newsletter, and how to sign up for emergency alerts.
Williamstown Fire District Chief Jeffrey Dias reports that crews from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) spent the day reinforcing control lines and continuing to extinguish the fire. Chief Dias is confident that crews will keep the fire contained, and conditions are improving.
Halloween is Saturday, October 31! Trick-or-treating at downtown businesses runs from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and neighborhood trick-or-treating runs from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Southworth
Fitness Coach Amanda Bayliss has had to cancel the last class of the season that was scheduled for 7:30 AM on Wednesday, October 28. See you in the spring for more free fitness classes!
