A Comprehensive Plan is an official, long-range planning document that guides future growth, land use, and development while protecting the Town’s character. It serves as a foundation for public policy, programs, land use decisions, capital improvements, and infrastructure upgrades across the community. The Plan aims to build a bright and vibrant future for the whole community.

This project was the work of a dedicated group of volunteer citizens, staff, and consultants under the supervision of our elected Planning Board. Beginning in late 2021 and concluding at the end of 2023 the results of this effort are a look at where the Williamstown community is today and where we believe we want to head to in the future. Together these documents provide a road map to achieve that desired future for our community.
