Head instructors from Zen Quest Martial Arts Studio will offer combination of mixed martial
arts principles such as balance, coordination, strength and controlled movement to teach
people how to fall without getting hurt.
Falls happen, I think the idea is to not get hurt, right? Falling is a major cause for all sorts of injury including un-necessary institutionalization. I have known individuals who’ve died as a direct result of a fall. If you’re
interested in coming, pre-registration is needed, contact Sophie Carnes Jannen at
scarnesjannen@berkshireplanning.org or call 413.442.1521, x63.
