The Town of Williamstown has been awarded $454,181 through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Municipal Fiber Grant Program to construct a town-owned fiber optic network connecting major municipal buildings and schools across the community.
The Williamstown Health Department has installed five outdoor air‑quality sensors throughout town to expand residents’ access to timely, local air‑quality information.
The Main Street bridge over Hemlock Brook has been reconstructed by MassDOT and is re-opened to traffic. In the Spring, plantings will be installed, and some minor items will be buttoned up. Current completion date is May 20, 2026.
