The Town of Williamstown is requesting to receive sealed bids for the provision of up to 2500 tons of winter road sand during the period of November 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The Town will receive bids until 1:00 PM on Monday September 28, 2026.
Williamstown Adds Electric Utility Van to Municipal Fleet
The Department of Public Works has purchased a fully electric utility van for facilities staff to use while traveling between municipal building locations.
Thomas Street Water Main Replacement
PARKING UPDATE (August 10, 2026): Thomas Street residents no longer need to move their vehicles to the First Baptist Church lot. If vehicle access or relocation becomes necessary, the Water Department will contact affected residents on an as-needed basis until further notice.
Outdoor Watering Restriction Now in Effect
Until further notice, non-essential outdoor watering is prohibited between 9 am and 5 pm. And watering outside the restricted time is by hand-held hose only.
Transfer Station Permit Stickers Available Starting June 1
Purchase a new sticker starting June 1, 2026. Affix the sticker to any driver’s side window by July 1.
