Williamstown Observes Juneteenth Holiday
Town offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth, a federal holiday. Come celebrate Juneteenth with us at The Milne Public Library, The Clark Art Institute, and the Williamstown Historical Museum.
Town Launches AlertWilliamstown, New Official Emergency Notification System
AlertWilliamstown, a new mass notification system powered by Regroup, replaces CodeRED as the Town’s official platform for emergency alerts and community notifications.
One-Lane Traffic on Northern Route 7 Through June
A section of Route 7 near the Vermont border will be one lane with temporary stoplight signals while MassDOT repairs a slope failure.
Town of Williamstown Awarded Grant to Build Municipal Fiber Optic Network
The Town of Williamstown has been awarded $454,181 through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Municipal Fiber Grant Program to construct a town-owned fiber optic network connecting major municipal buildings and schools across the community.
Williamstown Launches the 1776 Self-Guided History Tour
The Historical Commission partners with Williamstown Historical Museum to offer a 1776 Self-Guided tour of the Town. Join in by driving to the sites or virtually from a comfy chair.
Margaret Lindley Park Tree Removal
A few of the great hemlock trees were sick with Hemlock Woolly Adelgid. The trees have been removed. Please stay out of the roped-off area to let the grass grow.
